Maile Mixon is a certified physician assistant who enjoys taking care of the entire family through all stages of life. She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from San Diego State University, where she graduated with honors. Maile received her Masters in Medical Science from Emory University Physician Assistant program, where she also graduated with honors.
She enjoys Family Medicine because of the ability to cultivate long term relationships and the variety of concerns encountered by primary care patients.
Maile is passionate about adolescent health, women’s health and care for the elderly. She enjoys an open dialog with her patients to encourage healthy long term lifestyle improvements and finding ways to help patients make and meet their goals.
Maile, her husband Trey are active members of Custer Road United Methodist Church. They have college age twins and enjoy time volunteering, hiking, riding, target shooting and just being together.
